Where do you need growth and power? Only one true way to achieve them- time alone with God- prayer time!

What weakness have you been hiding from the Lord?

Isn’t it silly that we try to do that? Hide our temper, our pride, our self-righteousness, bad habits? We know good and well that He sees our weaknesses, they can’t be hidden.

What weakness or need do you need to bring to Him? Renew your fellowship, come into His presence in simple prayer.

Here are some questions to ponder upon:

1) Can you imagine your heart being a place comfortable for God Himself to visit?

2) Can you imagine it being a home He would feel happy to live in?

3) What furnishings would make Him feel at home?

4) Can you make those furnishings yourself (or will He have to bring them with Him)?

5) How can you pray about your home being the kind of abode that will make God comfortable (since we already know, theologically, He is in us and with us)?

What kind of person are you? Would you like to be a man or woman mighty in prayer? This would be a great day to ask God to create this in you- then WATCH and see what He does!

It has been a week since we broke our corporate fast.

The most lingering “effect” of this time with God has been the deepened desire to sit with Him and listen to Him.

What move of God have you found?  Do you see some work of God in your life or new openness to His work?  What is He doing around us?

Praise God for the Son of God’s gift to us. How do you pray to the God who has become your Father?
