It has been a week since we broke our corporate fast.
The most lingering “effect” of this time with God has been the deepened desire to sit with Him and listen to Him.
What move of God have you found? Do you see some work of God in your life or new openness to His work? What is He doing around us?

Fasting stuff The most important part of fasting is the re-directing of our attention. We calibrate then we change our focus to Christ.
Today is Good Friday. This is the day to remember what He did for us. The reason for our fast.

When you set yourself on fire, people love to come and see you burn.

This week JD showed the executive team a dvd by Craig Groeschel discussing personal spiritual condition and momentum.
It was beautifully timed for the last week of a fasting season. Just in time to seek God about my own spiritual condition.
So many things to pray about during these 3 weeks. The church, praying boldly, justice, intercessions.
How about my level of fire?
When Groeschel quoted John Wesley about people coming to watch a fire, I asked myself, “How large is my flame? Anyone attracted to the fire?”
Hmmm.
Got till Sunday morning.
