Good Friday is drawing near. Let us pray a prayer of remembrance.
Will you take some time with me to remember what our Lord has done for us?
Please read a passage daily until Easter:
Matthew 26-28
Mark 14-16
Luke 22-24
John 18-20.
Let us then pray, simply remembering the story back to God by telling him the story. It is a very respectful thing to do.
Keep in mind, there is not a format for this. Simply a time of remembering. You could pray something like this:
“Father in this Easter time I am remembering Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross that paid for my sin. I remember how he shared the last supper with his disciples. I remember that accepting “the plan” for my salvation was difficult and that Jesus sweated drops of blood while he prayed in the Garden. I remember that his friends fell asleep and that he was betrayed into soldiers’ hands….”
Remember right through to Jesus’ resurrection!
Let God know you treasure Christ’s sacrifice, his great power that raised Christ from the dead, and his love for you.

We Are Creators
Creators create.
We are created in God’s image.
He created with His words.
We create our culture with our words.
We are created in God’s image.
He created the power of relationship.
We create by the power of our relationships.
We are created in God’s image.
He created because He loves.
We create because we love.
We are created in God’s image.
He created boundaries for land and sea, for roles and relationships.
We create boundaries in choices and relationships.
We are created in God’s image.
He created by giving.
We create by giving.
We are created in God’s image.
He created beauty in nature and spirit.
We create beauty in and around us.
Creators create.

Listening stuff
I have four sons- three of them grown. Whenever one of the older three gives me a phone call, I always know who is on the line by the sound of his voice. Each one has a distinct voice that I have been listening to for a long, long time.
My fourth son is just 13. I used to know his voice. Then he hit puberty. Now whenever I hear his voice on the phone, I have to figure out which brother is talking. It will take time- but every time I hear his voice on the phone, I’ll get better.
Same thing with listening to God.
We come to know his voice by listening. The longer we listen, the better we know who is talking.
Practice.
Practice by:
-reading His Word (Scripture) often
-being quiet often when you are spending time with him.
